Oh Jimmy...

The dream has come true:

Jimmy himself will be creating Choos (and more) for H&M this very fall!!! I was one of the many, many women in line for Matthew Williamson for H&M this spring; and never have I had such an adrenaline rush since I got a tattoo on impulse on my birthday… I’m sweating already at the thought of not getting the pieces I’m craving.

Dying to know what the rest of the collection looks like, knowing Jimmy it shall be utterly Chic.

Gloves off, ladies!

The “Why-is-he-not-calling-scenario”...

I’ve just realized something. When a guy doesn’t call me, I’m never upset because I’m sad that he isn’t. I’m always upset for the simple reason: My EGO is hurt!
Its not: “Why isn’t he calling. I thought he was the one!”
Its: “Why isn’t he calling??? I was PERFECT! What a jerk…. Oh… My… God… Im not perfect!”

Hopefully he will call, email or send me some smoke signals so I can restore my illusion of my own perfection! (Fingers crossed!)

Summer lovin...

What is it about summer infatuations that hits a girl like a truck and leaves like its a hit-and-run...
I know I'm not easy to sweep off my feet. Very difficult indeed as a lady ought to be. But there is something in deed about a summer flirt...

I have come to the conclusion that its the shortness of it that makes it so sweet; no negative things revealed about him, or you. When its over, all of your memories are sweet, sexy and sultry.

Its summer, you're on vacation; drinking, shopping, smiling and partying. Nobody is there to point a finger at your short skirts and flirtish ways. You can be the woman you want to be; seductive and illusive with no-one there to tell you right from wrong....

God I love summer. Anyone else?:)

Paris trip was...

pas mal:) no, more than that... it was by faaaaar the best holiday of my life. Fabulous.

Arriving once more with a near empty suitcase it was crucial that I shopped... and so I did....:) again and again... and again.

The meaning was that me and Maya were going to spend 3 days in Paris and 4 in Auxerre with Pierre... Auxerre is a sleepy little village one hour from Paris.

Anyways, on the 11'th (our arriving day) we found out that Pierre had a broken leg and couldn't drive all the way from Germany to France as planned to meet us in Disneyland on the 14'th. How do we solve this? A bottle of cheap french wine, a begging phone-call to our parents to avoid breaking an entry to tres tres important shopping budget.

So: Money wired... new hotel-room. Party:) Anyways, we were happy change the hotel. Out new one was cheaper, but about 100 times nicer, bigger and the staff were delightful! We got to choose our own room, biggest bathroom Ive EVER seen in a Paris hotel! We will be back at this hotel every time. We even hugged the receptionist before we left.

I shopped as follows:

1. Marc by Marc Jacobs bag
2. Miu Miu Shoes
3. Fendi Sunglasses
4. Jacobs by Marc Jacobs pens, necklaces, and condoms (I mean, who can live without a MJ condom!!!)
5. Lancel Jewlery and keychains.
6. Dolce and Gabbana Jacket, Shoes and Clutch bag.
7. Armani wallet (Actually from the mens' collection but if it matches, why not.)
8. Gianfranco Ferre Umbrella.... rains alot in my town...
And many other things I forgot, these are the important things....

Such a lovely sight....

Funniest flight ever from Bergen to Paris; hungover from champagne the night before, we still made the flight in flying colors thanks to Maya's dad who took us there. We made the time pass by making lists: what to shop, worst sex ever, lamest people we ever met etc. And out own version of plane-terror.... this involving a mirror and the light from the window; kindergarden-style. Than arrived in Lovely, Romantic Paris! We dropped our bags, changed into fab shopping outfits and payed a visit to Chanel. Wonderful place... wonderful like Tiffany's in "breakfast at Tiffany's". I swear to shop there for real next time.

Very happy with the shopping experience though...

Wonderful partynights with Maya in the city of lights... Many girl night in the hotelroom post shopping looking at pictures and purchaces, drinking wine... sending inappropriate messages to people we dont know.

Another interessting thing as well... Being on a vacation-flirt-free-diet since age 14 I was suprised to meet someone I liked. So... a couple of very nice, fun dates too... vacations are allways a little too short. No details on this one, I enjoy keeping a secret:)

Things Ive learned in Paris:
1. Most waiters do not understand the meaning of "no fat"!
2. Me and Maya were created by Lucifer, out of plastic.... (crazy guy on the metro told us this).
3. WE HATE CHATELET! and the Metro in General.
4. VIP room moved from Champs Elysees to Rue de Rivoli.
5. Cherries are awesome with white wine.
6. It takes a while for your account to update after you shop when in a different country...

Latest report: I am sick. Flue. My head hurts like its full of rusty nails, and I look like I am dying. Took a facial and a manicure to look more like myself... but only ended up looking sick and redfaced. Faboluos. Planning to stay indoors the next two days.

Paris, je t'aime

Crucial on embarking on shopping spree to Paris: leave much room in suitcase!
This is a problem. I am staying in the city of love (and fashion) for 7 days and im at a loss at what to bring at what to leave behind. Knowing there will be many new things in my possession by the time I even think of returning I dont want to be where I was last time (arriving in France with a suitcase so empty it actually rattled, having nothing to wear to the Champs Elysees VIP room (actually I faught my way past the cashier at Zara 3 minutes before closing time screaming ("please! I just need a dress") He was great and ran all over Zara with me and found me a dress that is still my fav to date. Who doesnt love Zara for basics.

But still. No-one needs that kind of stress. And even bringing close to nada to France... I still had to wear two coats, a dress and a pair of jeans on the plane just to close my suitcase (also had a pair of stilettoes in my carry-on). So I guess, no good advice to be offered accept this (which works): Buy a new bag while there:) Big one. And make it your carry-on. Fill it with shoes, makeup, dresses and clutches and all things fabulous. Make sure you throw away anything you can spare (like pajamas and walking-shoes)... You will not miss them as much as the beautiful dress you didnt buy because "suitcase is full". Trust me. If all else fails: Ship it!

Last trip to Paris was amazing: Our admittance to the VIP room a clear highlight and best party-night to date. Partying and drinking expensive champagne like it was water was surreal and I still think of that night like "did that really happen?"

Anyways. I am exhausted from packing. Overslept today and almost late for work. Still got my latte as always though on the way there. Will sleep at H's tomorrow night for fab Paris-pre-party with champagne and planning of outfits.

Mom will watch Coco while I am gone. But I will miss her. Is it wrong to miss one's dog more than one's family? Here's a picture of her: My darling Coco. Almost two years old.

Essentials (or must-haves if you will)

The other day I suddenly got to thinking of how many friends I have... Many tell me (when they're wasted moestly) how special I am to them... (no, this is not a "ooo...look at me! Im popular-kind of blog) I promise I have a point, here goes.

I was walking down the street with two good friends (three including pooch) after sharing a hefty amount of Smirnoff. It was 4 in the morning and we started talking about friendship and how much we love eachother (I mean, of course we do... Ive known these sons of bitches since we were five)
And I realized just how few I know that I go that far back with... It made me think that maybe some people are meant to follow you the rest of your life through thick and thin... and some people are simply like little flashes of light; they change you and make you a different person, but once theyve done that they disappear... I mean... Ive known many people like that: my boyfriend when I was 16 for instance... he taught me that I deserve better:) And so I did better!

But for my first list of must-haves... for you all to start to get to know me... I will list the people in my life that are essential:

Mum: Essential because she's Mum, and because I can litterally tell her A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G, i learned this when I was 16 and needed my first morning-after-pill... not many girls can tell their mummy they had sex without a condom with no fuzz, and no lectures. I can! Love you, mum.

Dad: He's a pain, but he loves me, and I love him...

Maya: Is my best friend! She's fabulous as fuck. Why? Because she's allways up for anything crazy, she's never afraid of uf making fools of ourselves and because of that we have the best memories. Most loyal and best friend a girl can want. We've stuck together thick as thieves for years. Cant wait for Paris, sweety!

The Alf: My bigbrother... that I chose myself at 14. I decided I needed a brother and he was perfect because he never gets mad or tired, he allways advises me... and he's super nice... and he thinks im funny... go figure...

Coco: My dog... Shes totally spoiled rotten.... As we speak shes in my bed sleeping... She will be blogged about alot so; patience.

B and A: My longest lasting friendships... I dont get to see them that often, but its allways the same when we do... and thats what matters.

Tenshi: Has moved away... Known eachother for 8 years. Had a huuuge crush on him when I was 14... now hes a big-shot DJ, and hardly ever has time to visit little Bergen....

Anne: My friend since 14... When I need to know the truth I ask her. Love her to death for allways telling me when she really thinks... and for indulging me and coming to the bars that time that guy didnt call...

Simonsen: My back-up-husband. Whats a back-up-husband? Thats when you have a deal that if neither of you are married by a certain age you will walk the plank together... Im pretty sure we started out saying we'd get married by 40... buut... he keeps pushing the age down when we drink so depending on how many times im drunketi-drunk with him in the future... the wedding might be next year... keep you posted for invites.

K: Probably one of the world best listeners. I trust him with anything.

E: my ex-gone-best-friend. Lives in America so we rarely meet. But Its allways fun when we do: If you read this, E: Im going to hold you to that visit you promised me after I get my flat.

I apologize to those that Ive forgotten... Im worn out now. Its sunday night, and I desperately need a manicure and a sigarette before bed.
